Who am I

My Name is Steve Ward I have been fishing for many years now involving all forms of angling on rivers, lakes and at sea in the UK and all over the world. I am a Licensed Angling Coach L1ACAQ fully insured and hold all current DBS certificates

I have fished for the last 40 years for Barbel and Chub mainly on the Hampshire Avon, River Kennet , Middle Severn, , River Thames  and the River Trent.
Catching many fish along the way, with double figure fish from all the above rivers.
Fly fishing has been a passion now for the last 40 years.
Involving many days of tuition , teaching a very hands on style of fishing.
I am currently working as a consultant with both MadBaits and Bank Tackle.
